- Wie bist Du zur Kunst gekommen?
- From a young age I showed my interest on painting, as i was drawing everywhere and everything in the house. Although the big decision came when i was six years old when i earned a kid's painting competition, that was the moment that i decide what i will become when i will grow up, a painter. As i was growing up that love for art was still there, so i chose to study at the School of Fine Art of University of Ioannina. During my undergraduate studies i widened my knowledge in various techniques in sculpture, painting, engraving, photography and other art studios. At the end the direction that I followed was the sculpture, it was the art studio that allowed me to develop as an artist and as a person.

- As I was reading your open call, I had the feeling that I was reading my thoughts, my thoughts on society, politics and the world general. I always work on political issues or issues that I draw from the society. The questions that you asked were the questions I am asking myself when I start a new project. That’s why I found your open call so appealing and interesting.
- Kurzbeschreibung Deines eingereichten Projekts:
- Focusing on socio-political problems, my research led me to think about the value of language as communication and as a critique for contemporary issues in society. Text became the basic medium of expression for my personal beliefs and an invitation for the viewers to reflect on their own thoughts trough my artwork. It is my personal protest for what happens around us.
- Was oder wen siehst Du aktuell nicht in „der Kunstszene“ bzw. was fehlt Dir?
- This is a difficult question because during these two years of pandemic i think art world has been affected really bad. I miss a lot of things, I miss traveling and visiting my favorite museums, I miss the art exhibitions with the artists that are my inspiration. I miss inspiration general. Mostly, i feel that i miss myself, so many things are happening around us, too much news and fear that have affect me.
- Kannst Du von Deiner Kunst leben?
- Unfortunately i can not. I have sold small pieces few times, but it is not common to earn money from my art. However, I work as an art teacher in schools, where it is a good opportunity to be creative and have a stable salary.
- Wo können wir Deine Kunst „in echt“ sehen?
- You can find me in Greece, I live between Athens and Patras. I do not have a permanent art studio and I do not have any artwork permanent exhibit in a gallery or a museum. However, i participate to group exhibitions in Greece and other EU countries.
